Cobolli Gigli: «I was expecting a little bit more»
Hopes of finishing the season with seven consecutive wins and, more importantly, in second place, crashed at the Artemio Franchi in Siena today. But the 1-0 defeat by Beretta's team doesn't spoil Del Piero and Buffon and the others' excellent tournament.
Chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli agrees, even if today's performance was really not one of Juve's most brilliant. «I was expecting more today – he remarked to Juventus Channel – and in any case even a draw would've been useless in terms of catching up with Roma. Credit is due to Siena for winning and now let's try to finish off well the last two games against Catania and Sampdoria. I'm expecting the team to pick themselves up immediately. We've had a wonderful season; third place was probably the most we could achieve. We've seen a lot of great things this year, not so much today».
