Juve To Sell Palladino & Iaquinta
Juventus have put Raffaele Palladino up for sale, and are also ready to offload Vincenzo Iaquinta, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
Palladino is widely seen as one of Italy’s best young talents, however he has had a miserable season where he has often either sat on the bench, or been employed in an unfavoured wide midfield position.
The Italian press has suspected for quite sometime now that the 24-year-old would leave at the end of the season, and it is believed that the player rejected to be included in the part exchange deal that should eventually see Palermo’s Amauri end up in Turin.
The Corriere says that Juve have officially put Palladino up for sale, and Napoli, Sampdoria and Fiorentina are all ready to make bids.
Meanwhile the newspaper also claims that the Bianconeri are ready to listen to offers for Vincenzo Iaquinta.
The 28-year-old only joined the Old Lady last summer from Udinese, and despite impressing when given the chance, he has mainly been a substitute for David Trezeguet and Alex Del Piero, making just nine Serie A starts.
The favourites to snap up the World Cup winner are Roma, whose coach Luciano Spalletti is a huge fan having worked with the striker at Udinese.
