Another season goes in the archives. With no title or trophies won, it’s true, but it remains one of the best and most exciting in recent years: from Serie B to the Champions League in the space of 12 months. The whole squad managed by Claudio Ranieri deserves to be applauded by everybody.

After the game at the Ferraris, Giovanni Cobolli Gigli and Jean-Claude Blanc were the first to speak with Juventus Channel. Both wanted to extend their congratulations to the fantastic Bianconeri fans.

«We honoured the League again today – the Chairman began -, all the team did great, Del Piero did great and he's practically won the top scorer award, so I think he deserves to be called up for the European Championships. At the end of a season such as this, I can only thank everybody in the team for the contribution they gave on the pitch, but also the fans, for the love and passion they put in. Del Piero and Trezeguet? The nicest thing was Alex's gesture, when he let his team mate take the penalty. They scored 41 goals together, they worked really well together and this bodes very well for next season».

The Managing Director added his views: «We had an excellent season and especially in the second part of it we showed we can fight it out with anybody. This winter we decided to anticipate some of our investments and Sissoko's arrival proved to be important. At one point we even got close to Roma. I pay my compliments to the teams that have come above us, we couldn't have done more this season, but next year we'll try and close this gap, by using the same weapons such as our winners' DNA and our humble spirit, starting from the preliminary rounds. To do this we'll still need the love from our fans; that has never faded and it was they who spurred us on: the 14 million Juventus fans living in Italy but also the ones abroad».
