Aquilani Won't Go To Juve

Aquilani Won't Go To Juve - Agent

Alberto Aquilani’s agent, Franco Zavaglia, believes his client will not leave the Olimpico for a move to Juventus and he has taken a swipe at Juve transfer chief Jean Claude Blanc.

The Giallorossi have been trying to offer Aquilani a better deal but, so far, talks have failed.

The Bianconeri have been trying to land the midfielder as the Old Lady looks to strike while the iron is hot.

However, it seems unlikely that the player will move north and Zavaglia is confident his client will remain in Rome.

“Juventus? I think Blanc should talk to Roma and not Aquilani’s father,” the agent told Radio Radio

“We are working to renew his contract and Roma did say that we were going to meet after the European Championship.

“We will see what happens but it’s is highly unlikely that Aquilani will leave Roma.

“The negotiations will be difficult but that depends on Roma.

“I will not confirm what may happen and neither will I deny it because these situations are not always pleasant.”

Reports in Italy have claimed that Aquilani wants a massive wage increase but the Giallorossi do not seem willing to succumb to his demands.

It seems unlikely that Aquilani will take pot luck and a move to Juventus may still be on the cards if the Bianconeri come in with a better offer.
