Chiellini : "We found the spirit we had last year"
It’s not easy for a team to come our of the Bernabeu without having conceded a single goal and even though this is the result of a joint-effort by the whole team, it is obvious that the defence has a great share in it.
Giorgio Chiellini at the end of the match had this to say : “We found the spirit we had last year. Now we must also progress in the Serie A to reduce the margin from the teams at the top of the table.”
When asked to comment about the Juventus captain the defender said : “Del Piero is a great professional and an example to all of us in the way he trains.”
“If we remained with Juventus in the Serie B we did so to get back to this level”, concluded Chiellini.
