Ranieri And Mourinho To Make Peace?

Ranieri And Mourinho To Make Peace?

Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie is hoping that the two men can make peace before the match between Inter and Juventus gets underway next weekend.

The much maligned Inter boss, Jose Mourinho, did not take his time to get off on the wrong foot with a number of coaches in the Serie A, as he has continued his ways of being one of the most controversial figures in world football.

From his time at Chelsea, Mourinho made a name for himself as an outspoken and ignorant human being, who basically did or said whatever he pleased.

It didn’t take long for the Portuguese tactician to clash heads with some of Italy’s most respected coaches, most notably Claudio Ranieri of Juventus, whom Mourinho accused earlier in the season, for not being able to successfully learn the English language in five years at Chelsea.

He obviously compared this to himself, as he has managed to get a firm grip on the Italian language in an extremely short period of time.

Their two sides meet next weekend in the league coincidentally, as Juventus travel to the San Siro to face the reigning champions, Inter Milan.

In the lead up to the match, Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie has appealed to both coaches, calling for the both of them to make peace prior to the contest.

“It would be nice to see them embrace and shake hands before the match, as it would be a good sign for the football world,” said Legrottaglie.

“Ranieri and Mourinho are considered to be two extremely significant figures in Italian football, and so it would be good for everyone,” he added.

“I hope on Saturday there is peace at the San Siro.”

The two side’s will do battle next Saturday evening at 20:30 CET.
