Ranieri: «Another test against Reggina»
Its Saturday night fever for Juventus. After the match last Saturday against Inter, tomorrow Juventus will be playing against Reggina. Even winter arrived early this year with snow falling on Vinovo, covering the sports centre and promising to be one of the protagonists at the Olimpico.
The weather aspect however, does not worry Ranieri and the bianconeri, who just faced the cold during the encounter in St. Petersburg. «Personally I am only worried about Reggina that is playing really well – declared the coach during the press conference – Against Zenit we reacted like a team that did not accept the defeat in Milan and that confirmed a good moment. We want to show this tomorrow too».
With the top spot in the group of the Champions League practically certain, Juventus dive back into the championship. The bianconeri will be wanting to return to the winning streak interrupted with the match against Inter. The opponents, Reggina, on the other hand, managed to change course. Ranieri is well aware of the challenge his team will be facing: «It will be another test. They play good football, keeping the ball low and with rapid forward moves. The team is coming from two victories in a row and last year we lost in Reggio. It will be a difficult match but we want to win with humility and determination, aware of having to be 110% efficient to obtain the maximum».
No news with regards to the squad. Ranieri will have the same players of St. Petersburg, with Camoranesi constantly recovering but still without Zanetti: «We have to see how Cristiano develops one day at a time. He can do everything but he still feels pain when he stretches and so he cannot force himself. Soon we will have Poulsen and Tiago back and then even Buffon and Trezeguet. We don’t need to act on the transfer market»
