Juve Refuse Madrid's €50m Amauri Offer

Juve Refuse Madrid's €50m Amauri Offer - Reports

Juventus have told Real Madrid to forget about making a mega-money move for Brazilian striker Amauri during the winter transfer window, according to Tuttosport...

The Spanish club have already been beaten on the pitch by the Old Lady and now they have been further embarrassed after the Italians snubbed a €50 million offer for their hit-man.

Merengues chief Ramon Calderon wants Amauri straight away as Ruud Van Nistelrooy's injury has left the club with a striking crisis up front.

However, Tuttosport claims Juventus have refused an offer and they have told the La Liga champions to look elsewhere.

"Amauri is not for sale at any price, forget about signing him," a club source is quoted as saying in Tuttosport.

Real are set to up the ante and offer more but it's unlikely the Italians will budge as they are aiming for a Scudetto and Champions League double, and thus they wouldn't be prepared to sell their prized assets.

Inter's Hernan Crespo has also been touted but the club have always denied suggestions their striker would be leaving.

Juventus are currently joint top of Serie A and Amauri has been scoring regularly. It's unlikely they will let him leave.

Turin based Tuttosport have always claimed Sebastian Giovinco would leave instead of the Brazilian but the player has firmly denied the speculation.
