9 Bianconeri in international call-ups

No less then 9 Juventus players will be busy playing for their countries during the week. Marcello Lippi, called 4 players for Italy’s friendly match against Greece on Wednesday : central defence couple Legrottaglie and Chiellini as well as Camoranesi and Iaquinta. Giovinco and De Ceglie will be busy playing for Italy’s Under 21 squad on Tuesday in a friendly match against Germany in Osnabruck while Ekdal will be on the Swedish Under21 side in the match against the Netherlands. Wednesday will see Grygera’s Czech Republic in a world cup qualifying match against San Marino. Tiago was called up to play for Portugal in the prestigious friendly against Brazil.

Manninger will not be taking part in any international friendly due to a slight back pain whereas Mellberg was not called up for the match against Holland by the Swedish coach.
