Monaco Interested In Tiago

Monaco Interested In Tiago

It appears being back in the Juventus line-up in recent times has given Juventus midfielder Tiago Mendes some new career options...

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has turned to midfielder Tiago Mendes in recent matches during the Bianconeri's injury troubles. The Portuguese player has been filling in for the absent Christian Poulsen in central midfield.

His performances seem to have attracted some interest from European clubs, specifically AS Monaco. Tiago has already had an experience in France's Ligue 1, playing for Olympique Lyon between 2005 and 2007.

Tiago would likely be open to the move as he has had a difficult time settling at Juventus since arriving in 2007. However, it is unlikely the transfer to the Princiality would occur in January and would have to wait until the summer transfer window.

Monaco also appear to be interested in former Lazio and Inter winger Aprecido Cesar, who is currently a free agent.

Monaco are currently struggling in Ligue 1, sitting in thirteenth place at the moment.
