Nedved: We Are Not Scudetto Favourites But We'll Fight

Juventus veteran Pavel Nedved doesn't believe his side are amongst the favourites for the Scudetto but he admits they will fight for it...

The Bianconeri are three points behind league leaders Inter and the two teams rumble in Saturday night's showdown Derby D'Italia.

Juve's recent resurgence has seen them become Scudetto challengers but Nedved doesn't share this belief as he looks ahead to the game.

"I don't think Juve are the favourties to win the Scudetto but we can give teams a run until the end," Nedved told Tuttosport.

"If we win on Saturday then it will be a very important victory but in the end what counts is winning in May.

"It's a tough game and everyone wants to play in it and I am really happy it comes at this moment because we are in good form.

"For me scoring is not important but helping the win team is. We are going to Milan without having to prove anything.

"It's just a game worth three points like the rest of them."

Nedved had some words on Inter and, in particular, former Juve hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"I know Ibra very well and he has been making the differecne for years," added the midfielder.

"He is no longer with us but I am sure he will win important personal trophies in future.

"Camoranesi? He is a fundamental player for us and we have missed him on the pitch."

The Old Lady won this fixture 2-1 last season. The last time Inter beat Juve at San Siro was in 2004 when they won 3-2.
