Player Ratings: Chievo 0-2 Juventus

Manninger - 6.0: Did not have too many saves to make, but did all that was asked of him with minimal fuss.

Mellberg - 6.0: A few nervy moments in the first half against Langella, but he was rock solid in the second half.

Legrottaglie - 6.5: Lost Pellissier for the striker's chance on 10 minutes, but apart from this he was solid once again.

Chiellini - 7.0: The standout player in the Juve defence once again. Strong, quick, and unbeatable in the air.

Molinaro - 6.0: Suspect at the start of the game, as he was sleeping in the build-up to Pellissier's chance, but he did improve. Crossing was poor again though.

Marchionni - 7.0: Getting better game by game, and this afternoon he showed some good trickery down the right wing. His delivery was also good. A useful player at Ranieri's disposal if he can stay fit.

Sissoko - 7.0: Was perhaps Juventus' most dominant midfielder during the first half, and he went close to scoring on six minutes. Substituted at half time by Ranieri.

Tiago - 6.5: Showing more personality than he was last season, and may give Juve better balance than Poulsen. Still not completely convincing though.

De Ceglie - 6.0: Surprisingly preferred to Giovinco, and did his job down the left flank without really lighting up the game.

Del Piero - 8.5: It has been a simply incredible week for Del Piero. A third free kick in as many games, and a third man-of-the-match performance. Ranieri described Del Piero as "magical" after the match, and that is exactly what he was.

Iaquinta - 7.0: Worked like a horse all match, and was rewarded with the second goal after following-up the penalty he won and then saw saved.

Subs: Ekdal 6.0, Grygera 6.5, Amauri N/A

Carlo Garganese
