Juventus defender Zdenek Grygera is the latest name to be featured on the Bianconeri's already lengthy injury list.

The 28-year-old Czech international picked up a knock in Saturday night's game with Roma and will miss Wednesday's Champions League trip to Real Madrid.

However, the former Ajax man is expected to return in time for Juventus' Serie A match with Chievo next weekend.

It's a big blow for Juventus considering Grygera has established himself as a regular this season, making seven starts in the Bianconeri's opening 10 games.

Cristiano Zanetti will also not play in Spain as he continues his recovery from an injury sustained at the end of the last campaign.

The treatment room at Juventus is full at the moment. David Trezeguet is out until January after having knee surgery while Gigi Buffon is still nursing a back problem.

There is some good news for Claudio Ranieri, though. Claudio Marchisio has returned to fitness sooner than expected and could play a part at the Estadio Bernabeu.
