Nedved Unsure Over Retirement, Lippi Greatest Coach

Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved has hinted that he may sign a contract extension with the club and he reveals his best ever coach is Marcello Lippi...

The Czech star has been in stunning form of late, earning calls for an extension to his current deal which expires at the end of the season.

Nedved is still unsure of whether or not he will hang up his boots as he looks ahead and reveals his favourite coach.

"Will I retire? At my age I take each day as it comes," Nedved told Tuttosport.

"I don't know when exactly I will stop but Juve have plans for me and nothing has been decided just yet.

"Juventus have given me everything and I learned the winning mentality here as well as how to overcome difficulties. I hope I leave a mark here."

Nedved has been coached by a number of top tacticians in the past and he has revealed the one who has had the greatest influence on his career.

"[Dino] Zoff, [Sven Goran] Eriksson, [Claudio] Ranieri, [Didier] Deschamps, almost everyone but the person who gave me the most is without a doubt Lippi," added Nedved.

"He gave me the freedom to roam around the pitch and he allowed me to play behind the strikers."

The Bianconeri are in Madrid as they prepare to take on Primera Division champions Real in tomorrow night's Champions League showdown game.

The 'Furia Ceca' is likely to start for his side. Many will remember he was influential over Los Merengues in the 2002/03 semi-final second leg.
