Juventus The Latest To Track Chelsea’s Malouda

The Bianconeri have become the latest club to be linked with a move for Chelsea’s Florent Malouda.

According to the latest reports, Juventus are lining up Chelsea’s Florent Malouda, as they go in search of a replacement for the retiring Pavel Nedved at the end of the season.

Tuttomercatoweb has reported that the Bianconeri consider Malouda to be the ideal replacement for the former Czech international, and it may very well prove to be a move that benefits both the player and the club.

Jose Mourinho was responsible for bringing the French player to Chelsea in 2007; however since the manager’s departure to Inter, the 28-year-old has had a relatively tough time in London.

Despite this however, the French international has claimed that he wishes to remain at Chelsea, and thus honour his four year contract, making a move away from the club an unlikely outcome.

In the lead up to the 2010 World Cup however, the midfielder may wish to seize such an opportunity, especially considering the fact that his chances have been limited at the Blues, meaning that his involvement at the World Cup may be put in jeopardy.
