Trezeguet Playing Within Four Weeks

Trezeguet Playing Within Four Weeks

One of Juve's favourite strikers will be back in a month but it may not all be good news for some players...

Juventus hit-man David Trezeguet is expected to be back, ready and fully fit to play within the next four weeks.

As if competition wasn't already tough with his absence, players will need to fight extra hard once the Frenchman returns and coach Claudio Ranieri has a selection headache already.

Trezegol has made a great recovery following the surgery to both knees and he has been training well.

Tutttosport claims he should be ready for first team action within a month, but the problems don't stop there.

Trying to keep everyone happy will be difficult for the former Chelsea 'Tinkerman' and some stars face the chop.

With Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri being the striking partnership of Ranieri's choice, Vincenzo Iaquinta faces more gloom on the bench.

There are some solutions to the problem but they seem unlikely and hard to employ. One possible answer is to use a 4-3-3 formation and rotate the strikers. This could work in the Champions League, but Ranieri's penchant for a 4-4-2 system will be hard to change at this stage of the season.

The other may be the final straw where labouring players such as Iaquinta could face being placed on the winter transfer list.

Trez is unlikely to settle for a bench role as he aims to prove his worth once again this term.
