Nedved Eyes Champions League Final With Juventus

The Czech midfielder wants to lift the Champions League trophy as he aims for European glory...

Juventus veteran Pavel Nedved insists his side can reach the Champions League final this year.

Claudio Ranieri's side have raised their game in Europe and they are leading Group H, having already qualified for the next phase on matchday four.

This could be Nedved's final crack at winning the European cup and the Czech star wants it after having missed out in 2003.

"I don't regret missing the Manchester final as it is all destiny and I am happy as things are," Nedved told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"I am happy with what I have done and It's impossible to go back in time. I look ahead and we will try and reach the final with all our strength.

"Every game should be confronted with maximum concentration and I am always happy to do my best."

Nedved is likely to start for his side when BATE Borisov visit the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow night.

Juventus last won the competition in 1996 when the final was also held in Rome.
