Nedved: «I like Juventus because it obtains what it wants»
For somebody like Pavel Nedved, who has been trying to win the Champions League for quite some time, winning the group stage is only a first step. The best is yet to come as from February and the Czech, who played excellently against Bate even as a central midfielder, launched the challenge.
These are his comments at the end of the match: « I like Juventus because it obtains what it wants. Tonight we wanted to get this point and we got it. It wasn’t a spectacular match and we could have even won it at an earlier stage but at least we didn’t undergo any risks. The midfield did well, its easy tom play beside Zanetti and he will give us a great helping hand from now on. The draw? It doesn’t interest me, what counts is having obtained the top spot in the group ».
