Colantuono Pushes Amauri Towards Juventus

Palermo coach Stefano Colantuono has advised his striker Amauri to join Juventus as it would be the ideal club for him in order to continue improving in his career.

Colantuono spoke about his future at the Rosanero club, stating that he hopes that he can remain where he is for next season.

"I hope Siena will not be my last game on the Rosanero bench," declared the former Atalanta coach. "I'm fine here at Palermo and next week I will meet again with the president.

"There is reciprocal respect and honestly I don't think that there will be problem with regards to the future," he added.

AMauri Situation

With regards to Amauri, Colantuono believes that Juventus would be the ideal location for the striker.

"I think that the best choice for him is that of Juve. With the Bianconeri he can play in the Champions League and I think that it's the right team because we are talking about a big club, even though ultimately the final choice is his and of his agent," he said.

The Sicilian side's mentor also had his say on the Scudetto race.

"Inter and Roma have encounters of the same level of difficulty. It's obvious that the squads of the Nerazzurri and Giallorossi are superior to their opponents, but the psychological aspect will surely prevail," concluded Colantuono.
