Ranieri: «A nuisance ‘til the end»

Ranieri: «A nuisance ‘til the end»

What with Manager Ranieri repeating it so many times, Juventus have finally kind of gotten to enjoy being a “nuisance” for the other teams fighting for their own objectives. After beating first Roma then Inter Milan, opening up the title race again, in the next-to-last match of the season they re-opened the fight to avoid relegation too: they stopped Catania, who were already ready to celebrate, and everything still remains open, including the title race because the contenders will face teams still fighting to avoid the drop.

Juventus honoured the League's regularity and that's the most important thing, as Ranieri himself confirmed speaking to Juventus Channel: «We were a “nuisance” up to the end and most importantly we never gave up. We did well in not letting go after going one down in one of the few goal-scoring chances Catania had. I'm happy Del Piero scored. Now he and David can fight it out for the top scorer award; I hope one of them can get it, maybe both of them together».
