Wayne Bridge

Ranieri Wants Bridge At Juve

According to the latest transfer speculation, former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is eager to give Wayne Bridge a new lease on life at Juventus.

The English left-back has become an increasingly marginalised figure at Stamford Bridger since Avram Grant took over from Jose Mourinho and is not even expected to make the bench for tomorrow's Champions League Final against Manchester United

Juventus are said to readying a £6 million offer for the 27-year-old, who also counts Liverpool, West Ham and Tottenham on his list of admirers.

There are also fresh reports tipping Chelsea no. 2 Carlo Cudicini for a summer switch to link up with his former boss Ranieri in Turin.

Continued conncerns about Gianluigi Buffon's fitness and a loss of confidence in his current understudy Emanuele Belardi have persuaded Juventus to cast the net for an alternative, especially now that they will be back in the Champions League next season.
