Reports: Amauri's Juve deal done

There are reports that the Amauri transfer saga will finally conclude tomorrow when the striking star will sign a deal with Juventus.

Palermo’s brilliant Brazilian has always looked likely to join the Old Lady and had at one point declared himself to be “91 per cent Juve”, but then he threw his future into doubt by flirting with Milan.

However, after the Rossoneri’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League it seems that Amauri’s mind is made up.

It is believed that a meeting today between Amauri’s agent Mariano Grimaldi, Juve director Jean-Claude Blanc and Palermo sporting director Rino Foschi led to a final deal being agreed.

The Rosanero will allegedly receive co-ownership of striking prodigy Davide Lanzafame, full rights to Azzurrini midfielder Antonio Nocerino and £9.5m.

One of Raffaele Palladino, Sebastian Giovinco or Vincenzo Iaquinta were originally requested by the Sicilians, but Juve vetoed the departure of Giovinco and Iaquinta, while Palladino refused to leave Turin.

Amauri is set to receive around £3m per season for four years – a compromise between the £3.2m the player initially demanded and Juve’s original offer of £2.7m.

After months of speculation, Amauri could officially become a Juventus player tomorrow.
