Amauri and Nedved on top form
The Bianconeri trained this morning, with a smaller squad again due to the internationals' absence. Ranieri supervised the session which involved nine of his men: goalkeepers Chimenti and Pinsoglio alongside Amauri, Del Piero, Marchionni, Molinaro, Nedved, Salihamidzic and Tiago.
After a half-hour warm-up and resistance and speed exercises on the pitch next to the main one, the Bianconeri played a series of short one-on-one games, then two-against-two and finally three-against-three with an added wild card player, a role that was taken up by Tiago and Marchionni in turn. It’s worth noting that Nedved looked particularly energetic and there was a splendid goal from Amauri, who truly looked to be on top form. Tomorrow the last training session of the week will take place, in the morning, before two days of rest.
