Blanc Shows Ranieri The Fist Of Faith

Blanc Shows Ranieri The Fist Of Faith

Juventus chief executive Jean Claude Blanc insists there will be no changes of management at the club and he believes the team can still fight to succeed with their Scudetto and Champions League objectives...

The Old Lady seems to have refound her feet following the 2-1 win against Real Madrid in mid-week.

However, the critics are still armed and ready to fire at the next sign of abject form in Serie A.

The big Turin derby is up next for Juve but Blanc has revealed the club will carry on as it is and there is no chance of anyone risking their job whatever the outcome on Saturday.

"Trust is based on victories therefore positive results help. We will not be making and changes to the way we work," Blanc told La Stampa.

"Nobody is in question and there is no risk. I believe in the team and in its work. We have to keep working together when things go right and even more so when they go wrong.

"We are making a critical analysis but I am not the only one working to find a solution.

"We always have to find ways of improving and we should never be satisfied with what we have we should always aim for higher."

The chief then spoke about coach Claudio Ranieri who has been used as a scapegoat for all of the club's underachievement thus far.

"Ranieri has a contract with us this year and next year too. Our decision is to carry on as we are," added the chief.

"We will carry on with him and his staff for this season and next until the end of his contract.

"We want to do better than last year and these first eight weeks have not changed my opinion."

The Bianconeri have been struggling in Serie A but they are in firm command of their Champions League group.

The emphasis has been on that competition and this has been reflected in the league.
