Pavel refuses to panic

Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved is the latest player to rubbish talk of a crisis in the Bianconeri camp.

The Old Lady are struggling and the pressure on Coach Claudio Ranieri is growing.

However, despite recent draws with Catania, Sampdoria and BATE Borisov and a defeat against Palermo, the Juve players insist there is no panic.

“There is no crisis,” Nedved told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “It's just speculation from the newspapers.

“We have only lost one game - I would hardly call that a crisis.

“We always knew it would be a difficult month for us. There has always been plenty of hype coming from the outside but we are used to it and if anything it will make us better.

“We have a host of great players, including Sebastian Giovinco and Alessandro Del Piero - Juve have always built teams with great physical abilities and it's the same this season.

“Ranieri has the same objectives as all the players and he simply wants to win.

“There is no dressing room rift - the Coach always talks to the players and explains everything.”
