The Bianconeri are beginning to refind the confidence that was missing in the team following the 2-1 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Granata are up next for the Old Lady and it will be a tricky game as Torino are no push-overs when it comes to derby matches against their bitter rivals.
Chiellini is well aware Toro are not really the 'Real' deal but he has told his side to be wary even though he is quietly confident.
"It's true, Torino are no Real Madrid but it's a derby on Saturday," said Chiellini.
"It's a particular game in many ways which beats logic but I am really hoping to win it. I am crazy for a victory in the derby."
"Real Madrid? We had to be at our best but there was even some errors on their part which led us to win."
Although the Bianconeri lead their Champions League group, they are way off the pace in Serie A and a much needed win against the Granata will be the key to help the club rise back on its feet.
