Nocerino's gunning for Old Lady

Palermo midfielder Antonio Nocerino is eyeing revenge over former club Juventus this weekend.

The Azzurrini star was never really given a chance to shine in Turin and joined the Rosanero in the summer.

Nocerino faces an emotional return to his former employers this weekend and he is hoping to prove a point.

“The step up didn't happen overnight,” he told Stadio News.

“I have always tried to play well from my first game here at Palermo and I want to prove myself.

“I'm hoping to do well against Juventus. It's a unique game because I will be playing against my old teammates and they were always very important to me.

“It will be an emotional match and if I score I will celebrate. The only team I won't celebrate against is Napoli.”
