Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is looking forward to the mid-week game against Bologna on Wednesday night and he is hoping his side continue moving onwards and upwards...

The stopper was outstanding during the 1-0 derby win over Torino which saw him reach a milestone with the Old Lady as it was his 100th appearance.

Chiellini is hoping he can continue to play well as his side begin to climb out from their recent woes.

"It's always nice to reach such an important milestone especially when it comes in the derby win against Torino," Chiellini told the club's official website.

"One hundred games are plenty but it's a starting point for me.

"I am satisfied with the way things are going and now we have to look ahead to the game against Bologna, we are now focussed on this.

"The two wins against Real Madrid and Torino were important as we silenced the critics but now we have to continue bringing points home and move up the table."

Juventus are five points off the pace as they prepare for the crucial match against the Emiliani later this week.

Chiellini was influential in the derby and he will be hoping to continue his good form.
