Camoranesi Set To Return
Camoranesi Set To Return
The Bianconeri seem to have finally overcome their crisis on the field. The news off it is also beginning to improve, with Mauro Camoranesi nearing a return.
Following an inconsistent start to the campaign, which included a poor run of form and several key injuries, the Bianconeri seemed destined to have a poor season ahead.
This has all changed in the past week however, following two comprehensive victories over Spanish giants Real Madrid in the Champions League, and over Torino in the Derby della Mole last weekend in the Serie A.
Their form on the field has drastically improved, as is the case for the news off the field, with midfielder Mauro Camoranesi all but certain to return against Bologna this week.
It’s a huge boost for Coach Claudio Ranieri, who will be able to further strengthen his midfield, an area that his side has been struggling in a little recently.
Unfortunately however, Hasan Salihamidzic, Zdenek Grygera and Paolo De Ceglie are all certain to miss through injury, whilst Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri, may be rested, meaning that Vincenzo Iaquinta and Sebastian Giovinco will play from the start.
Juve are currently in 10th spot, just five points off the pace set by league leaders Udinese, and so they will be desperate to win on their travels to Bologna this week.
