Ranieri: We Are Yet To Overcome Our Crisis
Despite another convincing performance against Bologna last night, Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri believes that the club’s crisis has not yet passed.
Juventus made it three successive victories in all competitions last night, following their 2-1 triumph at the Renato Dall’Ara in Bologna. A brace to Pavel Nedved was enough for the Bianconeri, who moved up to 9th spot in the standings.
The Old Lady are now just 5 points off the pace set by the league leaders Udinese and Napoli, and are looking a different side to the one in which failed to win in five matches a few weeks ago.
Coach Claudio Ranieri however, remains adamant that despite the club’s recent good run of form, they are yet to overcome their crisis.
“We were struggling for quite some time, and so two or three good performances will not make up for all of this,” he said.
“We need to continue this good run of form, before we can officially declare that the crisis has passed,” the coach added.
“We certainly are improving in each match, and we are therefore well on track to overcome the crisis,” concluded Ranieri.
The boss had some final words for the hero of last night’s match, Pavel Nedved, by saying that, “I would like him to sign a new contract soon. Perhaps even one for two more years,” he jokingly added.
Juve host Roma this weekend at the Olimpico in Torino, before a crunch clash in the Champions League against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
