Alessandro Del Piero is still confident of Juventus' Champions League chances in spite of a draw against BATE Borisov.
The Old Lady were shocked when they fell 2-0 down in Belarus but they battled back for 2-2.
After an opening draw with Zenit St Petersburg, the Bianconeri are still on track to progress to the knockout stages, but there has been some harsh criticism in the peninsula, mostly directed at Claudio Ranieri.
“It was a tough trip and we only got a draw but there is a long road ahead,” Del Piero told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Now we are awaiting two battles against Real Madrid and I am looking forward to it.
“There's time to improve before that and we need to start better as shown by the fact we fell 2-0 down against BATE so quickly.
“But the fact we showed a good reaction to fight back is positive and we showed a hunger to win until the last minute.”
