I Will Not Celebrate If I Score Against Palermo - Amauri

I Will Not Celebrate If I Score Against Palermo - Juventus Striker Amauri
Juventus star Amauri talked about this weekend's match against his former club Palermo.

Amauri may have not have found the net in over seven months for Juventus, but these are still exciting times for the striker, who may earn his first call-up to the Azzurri soon after obtaining his Italian passport.

This weekend the Bianconeri face his former club Palermo, where the Brazilian became famous. Today he said he does not intend to celebrate if he scores.

"I could never celebrate if I scored," Amauri said to Il Giornale di Sicilia, "and also if a team-mate scored. I would be satisfied but I would only express my joy with my family members. I don't want to show the Palermo crowd a lack of respect."

On his experience at the Rosanero, he said, "It was an experience that gave me a lot and not only from a footballing point of view. I still have very strong ties with the club. I often speak to [Fabrizio] Miccoli, but also other footballers."

The 29-year-old striker has yet to find the net in the current season, but scored 11 times in Serie A during the last campaign, his first with Juventus.
