Agent: Amauri Should Join Roma

Amauri’s agent Mariano Grimaldi is pushing the striker towards a move to Roma rather than Juventus after holding talks with the Giallorossi.

For most of the season there has been talk of the Brazilian being keen on a move to the Old Lady and Amuri did say that it would be a dream to play for Juve.

However Grimaldi has revealed that the striker may end up plying his trade at the stadio Olimpico.

“We are dealing with many clubs and Juventus are amongst these,” the agent told Il Romanista.

“I had a meeting with Alessio Secco on Thursday and we spoke about the situation.

“As for Roma, they have been in touch but at the moment they are having a little problem in terms of the future of the club.

“However, I did meet Davide Prade (Roma director) recently and we had a little chat.

“All I can say is that Amauri could choose Roma if the offer was right and to be honest the atmosphere in Roma is better than that of Juventus and it would suit someone like Amauri.”

It now seems likely that Juventus will have to battle it out with the Giallorossi to try and land the player. It is believed that Amauri is valued at €25m by Palermo and thus it’s going to take some high bidding by both clubs if they are to sign him.
