Juve: Iaquinta And Legro Back For Real

Juve: Iaquinta And Legro Back For Real

Juventus doctor Riccardo Agricola has good news which will allow coach Claudio Ranieri to breathe a sigh of relief as both Nicola Legrottaglie and Vincenzo Iaquinta are likely to be back for the games against Napoli and Real Madrid...

The Bianconeri have been going through a mini-crisis as points have been hard to come by following poor performances and a spate of injuries which have torn through the side.

However, brighter times are ahead as Agricola confirms the duo, as well as a host of other players, are back on the mend.

"Iaquinta and Legrottaglie have a problem which they should both overcome for the game against Napoli or, at the very latest, against Real Madrid," the doctor told Juventus Channel.

"Mellberg has a muscular problem and that may take between one and two weeks to heal."

Gianluigi Buffon and Mauro Camoranesi have also been struck down with various injuries. Both players were allowed to leave for La Nazionale but they will return injured. Agricola admits the club had no powers to stop the duo from travelling with the Azzurri.

"They left because we had made an agreement with the national team," added the medical chief.

The race is now on to get the Italians back to full fitness for the next two games which will be crucial in seeing whether or not Juve have what it takes to win the Scudetto and Champions League but, more importantly, whether Claudio Ranieri keeps his job.
