Amauri: There Is No Crisis

Amauri: There Is No Crisis

Brazilian hitman Amauri has rubbished talk in the press that Juventus are a team in crisis.

The Bianconeri are still unbeaten this season at home and abroad, however they have struggled badly over the past fortnight or so, and have drawn there last three games.

This included a humiliating 2-2 draw away from home at Belarus minnows BATE Borisov on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

Juventus have been heavily criticised in the press, with talk that the club are in crisis and that Claudio Ranieri may even risk his job if they don’t get back to winning ways against Palermo this weekend.

However, Amauri, who has been one of Juve’s best players so far this campaign, has rubbished all this talk.

"Everything's okay," he insisted.

"We are at the beginning of the season and I don't understand all this talk of crisis.

"Look, every team that plays against us gives 100 per cent. This is what happened against BATE Borisov.

“They jumped us and went 2-0 up, but we showed great character to fight back to 2-2."
