Del Piero And Ranieri In Training Ground Bust Up
Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero has fallen out with his coach Claudio Ranieri, according to Tuttosport...
It seems as if the problems at Vinovo have take an turn for the worse after captain and coach had a disagreement on the training pitch during Thursday's session.
The Bianconeri have not been impressive this term and they have disappointed in three consecutive games, two in Serie A and one in the Champions League.
Tuttosport claims, Ranieri gathered his players around the pitch yesterday afternoon to talk with them about the problems and where they are going wrong, but it seems as if this did not go down too well with Del Piero who responded 'I'm not the problem.'
The captain's words did not bring a smile to his coaches face. Both Ranieri and the striker had a ten minute discussion but neither of them were able to iron out their differences as Del Piero stormed off, visibly angry and he looked unhappy as he left the training centre.
Reports suggest the coach is not pleased with Del Piero's recent form as he has seen a goal drought this term. His only strike coming against Zenit in the Champions League last month.
Pinturricchio is likely to be dropped from the game this weekend against Palermo with Vincenzo Iaquinta taking his place. The troubles are set to continue in Turin as Pavel Nedved is also out from the Rosanero clash following his recent poor showings, and Sebastian Giovinco will play instead after his super display against Bate on Wednesday.
